So its race week your taper is in full swing but all of a sudden you’re feeling a bit under the weather.

Here’s what I did to combat a head cold I developed and managed to get it to clear in about 3-4 days

 

I try and drink medicinal juices regularly but when I get hit with flu and cold symptoms I know I have to do something immediately! I take the following:

Option 1: Ginger-tumeric shot

Ingredients:
1 Ginger root
1 Tumeric root
– Cayenne pepper
– Ground black pepper
Method:
1. Juice the ginger and tumeric root. Use enough to yield at least 100ml of juice.
2. Add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper and ground black pepper to the juice once you’ve mixed both juices together.

Option 2: Apple cider vinegar (ACV)

Ingredients:
ACV (supermarket bought; you don’t need the fancy organic and filtered brands)
Hot water
Method:
Add one teaspoon of ACV to a small cup of boiled water.
Drink like tea 🍵

Option 3: Vit C Supplement

Preferably a 1000mg dose once a day.
I used the above options over the course of 4 days since I felt the symptoms develop.They can be used every single day to keep your immune system strong and fight off germs before they develop into colds and flus ❤💪
